Replicable energy model: NY setting national precedent in community choice aggregation – SmartGridNews

The New York State Public Service Commission (PSC) has given Sustainable Westchester access to a treasure trove of necessary data for the state’s very first Community Choice Aggregation (CCA) program.

Sustainable Westchester has received data from participating municipalities and will use it to size the market and project how consumers can save energy and money on their bills through smart buying, augmented by the intelligent application of social media and new technology.

This is a significant milestone for New York’s CCA program, Governor Cuomo’s strategic Reforming the Energy Vision (REV) — representing a huge shift in New York’s power industry.
