Why participate in the Westchester
Power program?

Westchester Power is the first community energy of its kind in New York State, launched in 2016. 28 municipalities, including those listed above have proactively taken charge of their energy future and are collectively purchasing electricity on behalf of its residents and small businesses through the program. This courageous work by municipality leaders and all program participants is helping us:

  • Purchase clean energy at competitive fixed- rates.
  • Decarbonize the grid with Renewable Energy, boosts the green economy and green jobs, address climate change and secure a good future for our children.
  • Create more sustainability programming and a path towards resilient, healthy & vibrant communities, Your participation is making a difference! You get to enjoy the benefits of a vetted community energy program that is always here for you and is advocating for you, helping bring about opportunities such as:
  • Community Solar – saving you up to 10% on your electricity bill while double your environmental impact!
  • GridRewards – savings and cashback opportunities for reducing energy use during demand response events!!
