Vennela Yadhati is the Senior Manager, Strategy at Orsted, the world’s largest offshore wind producer, and the most sustainable energy company. As part of Orsted’s onshore team, Vennela leads commercial strategy and business development efforts for new energy technologies including green hydrogen and e-fuels, to help decarbonize even the hard-to-abate industry sectors.
Prior to Orsted, Vennela worked as the Clean Energy Advisory Services Manager for the New York Power Authority where she helped develop over 300 MW of distributed solar and energy storage projects at NYPA’s customers’ locations throughout the state of New York. These include projects that have provided access to affordable clean energy to over 30 municipalities and school districts within Westchester County. Vennela brings over 12 years of experience working on renewable energy projects in various capacities, from origination to commercial operation and ongoing O&M support. She developed,designed, and managed over 1,500 MW of utility and C&I scale solar PV and energy storage projects. In addition, she has experience working with electric vehicles (EV) and charging infrastructure and integration of the same for vehicle to grid (V2G) applications.
Vennela holds a Masters in Electrical Engineering from Missouri University of Science & Technology and is a registered P.E. in the states of Florida, Missouri and New York.
