Community Energy Advisor, Building Decarbonization

Natalia Zhiltsova

Natalia Zhiltsova joined Sustainable Westchester in February 2025 as a Community Energy Advisor. Her love for nature began at a young age and flourished into a commitment to sustainability for the environment and local communities.

Natalia has a B.A. in Economics and Global Sustainability as well as a minor in Urban and Environmental Planning from the University of Virginia. At The University she was a member of Salsa Club, Sustainability Advocates, and Global Greeters. Her previous work experience includes working on a one hundred acre farm where she spearheaded sustainability projects such as solar panels with battery storage and a community garden.

In her free time Natalia enjoys fostering dogs for the Westchester SPCA and Guiding Eyes for the Blind as well as walking her own dogs. She loves gardening and is a UConn Extension Certified Master Gardener. She is trilingual (Russian, Spanish, English) and loves traveling tolearn firsthand about different cultures.
