Free Natural Refrigerant Training for Refrigeration Technicians

The Natural Refrigerant Training Summit will provide comprehensive training on CO2 and propane from multiple manufacturers and industry experts. This event is open to all refrigeration technicians from all locations.

This event is hosted by the North American Sustainable Refrigeration Council and co-sponsored with New Yorkers for Clean Power and Cornell Cooperative Extension Smart Energy Choices – Mid-Hudson.

What’s Included?

  • Concurrent technician training sessions on CO2 and propane from multiple manufacturers and industry experts.

  • Hands-on training break-out sessions with access to equipment.

  • Exhibit hall featuring the latest natural refrigerant products and service offerings.

February 10-12: Natural Refrigerant Training Summit

Our Natural Refrigerant Training Summit offer a FREE two-day training opportunity for refrigeration technicians on the latest CO2 and propane technologies. Participating technicians get access to classroom and hands-on training sessions from multiple manufacturers and industry experts. Attendees will also be invited to explore an exhibit hall to learn about the latest natural refrigerant products and services while networking with peers. Refrigeration technicians will receive priority.

February 12: Half-Day Workshop with Rusty Walker: Rolling Remodel with CO2 Booster Systems (Separate Registration Required)

This course provides practical methods for converting an operating store from an HFC rack system to a CO2 booster system with minimal disruption. We will cover system design considerations, parallel installation of the CO2 equipment, piping and valve changeovers, pressure testing, and commissioning procedures. Learn how to bring the new CO2 system online while safely shutting down and removing the existing HFC rack—ensuring continuous store operation throughout the remodel. Refrigeration technicians will receive priority.
