Event Description:
Sustainable Westchester is hosting an Energy Savings Workshop at the Ossining Library. This session will cover Community Solar, GridRewards, Empower+, and HEAP programs. Attendees will learn how these money-saving opportunities play a role in the preservation of our environment, improving health, and giving rise to a more sustainable future. Sign-up assistance will be provided, and attendees are encouraged to bring their Con Edison bill and (if applicable) an award letter for SNAP/Medicaid.

The Yonkers Green City Advisory Committee along with Sustainable Westchester and several Yonkers neighborhood associations are sponsoring a webinar on the NY State and Federal tax incentives available for homeowners who may be interested in installing heat pumps, solar, insulation or simply improving the sustainability of their homes.
The webinar is set for 7 pm on Wednesday, May 22 and will include a representative from SW familiar with State and Federal programs along with a representative of local installers who can answer technical questions about both installation and how to apply for incentives. If you are concerned about the sustainability of our community this is a webinar you won’t want to miss.
