Vera joined Sustainable Westchester in April 2026 as a Program Manager. In this role, Vera coordinates sustainability initiatives with municipal partners across the County. Prior to joining Sustainable Westchester, Vera served as a policy intern with the Environmental Protection Bureau of the New York State Attorney General’s Office, where she supported research and analysis on environmental enforcement and regulatory matters.
Vera believes that local governments can play a powerful role in advancing the clean energy transition and addressing climate challenges at the community level. She is excited to contribute to this work in Westchester.
In her free time, she enjoys tending to her community garden plot and caring for her beehives. Vera holds an M.S. in Environmental Policy from Bard College.
