Clarke Littlejohn

Clarke Littlejohn is our Climate Justice Fellow under the EnergySmart Homes Department. His focus is on serving historically disenfranchised and marginalized communities mainly through the form of community outreach. Clarke, a lifelong New Yorker, born in Brooklyn and raised in New Rochelle, has had a strong desire to help build a more equitable economy and bio-diverse climate. This comes from a lifetime of exploring and learning about the biodiversity of our planet and witnessing how climate change affects biodiversity. Throughout the years Clarke’s approach and views of how to help combat the climate crisis has evolved from focusing on purely science and engineering solutions to a mix of a science, engineering, economic, and social perspective primarily focusing on the social and economic components. He believes building a habitable environment that is inclusive is done by improving the material conditions of all citizens through clean, cost effective, sustainable energy and the promotion of energy independence.
