There are a variety of incentives available for energy efficiency and clean heating and cooling offered by the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), the Internal Revenue Service and some utilities.

This is an excellent time to upgrade to a heat pump system – the rebate amounts have recently increased!

  • Most of these rebates can be combined, but please note to access the NYSERDA rebate, you must use a NYSERDA participating installer.
  • Some rebates vary by location.

CON ED: To receive rebates and incentives on your project, the clean heating, and cooling upgrade work must be completed by a Con Ed participating contractor.

NYSEG: Air Source and Ground Source rebates are currently on hold due to COVID-19. For those planning to install a heat pump after NY-PAUSE is lifted, preview the incentives here.
