Nancy Seligson

Nancy Seligson is Supervisor to the Town of Mamaroneck and was elected to the office in November 2011. Prior to becoming Town Supervisor, Supervisor Seligson served on the Town Board as a Councilwoman beginning in 2000. She is past chair of the Westchester Chapter of the League of Conservation Voters as well as the Larchmont Mamaroneck Coastal Zone Management Commission. She has been a leader in Long Island Sound environmental advocacy for over 25 years. Supervisor Seligson is currently the New York Co-Chair of the Citizen’s Advisory Committee of the Long Island Sound Study. She is the past President and board member of the nonprofit organization, Save the Sound. She chaired the Westchester County Committee on Nonpoint Source Pollution of Long Island Sound and the Westchester County Environmental Management Council. Supervisor Seligson is a past member of the Westchester County Board of Health, and also studied and worked with Pace University’s Land Use Law Center’s Community Leadership Alliance programs. Ms. Seligson moved to the Larchmont/Mamaroneck community in 1988 and holds a degree in economics from Northwestern University.
